About me

Your Name
I graduated from the Osteopathic College of New Zealand in 1995.
I have been married since 1993, and am the father of two boys in their mid-twenties.
As a parent I am very aware of the importance of family health, and the relevance of Osteopathy to all aspects of family life from infants to the elderly.
I have held position on the Osteopathic Advisory Committee and with the International Society of Osteopathic Practitioners, of which I have been vice president.
I have been a key provider for the New Zealand Academy of Sport & High Performance Sport NZ from 2005 to 2012.

I have a special interest in working with elite athletes, optimizing their fitness, preventing sports injuries, and maximizing their potential.
I have travelled extensively around the world in this capacity, working in countries like Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Australia and Fiji.
A highlight for me was being a provider for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing China. 

Qualified Equine and Canine Osteopath – Postgraduate Diploma 2018

Equine and Canine Osteopathy is a branch of animal osteopathy which is concerned with treating horses and dogs. It is a manual therapy complementary to veterinary care that aims to remove tension and restrictions and encourage healing in the animal’s musculoskeletal system. The result is pain relief, improved movement and performance and injury prevention.

Pelvic Health – Credentialed

I have furthered trainied in pelvic health as I have seen the impact this has had on the lives of so many people. I am a credentialed Pelvic Health Osteopath. I am able to treat incontinence and pelvic pain in either men or women, as well as other pelvic health conditions. I am a member of the International Continence Society.
